Placing of roof panels wrapped up before lunch today. Next is attaching connectors, adding rim boards, and then starting roof sheathing.
Walls are up and roof is underway on the MAHFH build in Ogden, with MATC and Ft. Riley HBI showing how awesome they are. Amazing work!
After day one of prefab assembly, the house is taking shape...
Great teamwork today onsite by MAHFH, MATC, and Ft Riley HBI. In quick time the panels were unloaded and organized.
The slab for the spring 2022 house in Ogden (MAHFH Build 31) was ready this week and students from Workforce Solar Partnership orgs MATC and Ft. Riley HBI jumped into action getting last year's panels out of APDWest. Time for some prefab!
KSU Pres. Linton and leadership from partner organizations met in Ogden today and visited the AY2020-21 build, with help from Manhattan Area Habitat for Humanity, who introduced us to the new homeowner; on a hot day the house was running on 100% solar. It was great to see the students' design work transformed into a home.
